At the Tumane Monastery, the Serbian Patriarch was greeted by Bishop Ignatius of Branicevo, with Abbot Dimitri, the monastery brotherhood and faithful people.
In his welcoming address, Bishop Ignatius thanked His Holiness for conferring the Patriarchal blessing on the Diocese of Branch and the monastery, fraternity and faithful people.

Patriarch Irinej pointed out that in today’s difficult times, Tumane is a sacred shrine that shines all over the Serbian Church and into which many people are coming from all sides. It is a living testimony of faith. The help they seek and receive from St. Zosimus and St. Jacob is a great gift of our Church today, said the Patriarch.
After the solemn doxology, the Patriarch visited the monastery complex, visibly impressed by the order he found and the state of the monastery.
